Warranty Service Request Process

Windsor Homes appreciates your business. Windsor stands behind all the parts and pieces that were used to build your home. Your home was built with great care and attention to quality. However, since your home is one of a kind and built by human hands, somethings may not work as intended and need to be repaired. This is where our warranty service steps up to get you taken care of. We do not have a special warranty department and crew that handle nothing but your home after it closes, like the national companies. Windsor uses its builders that built your home to get you resolved in a timely manner. The warranty request is also tracked by upper management to ensure a timely resolve to your issue.

Once you submit a request for a warranty, one of our Construction Managers will reach out to you within 2 business days (except for emergencies) to schedule an inspection of your request. Windsor Home’s business hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Please have an adult (someone over the age of 18) available within 2 business days from contact, for an inspection to be performed. Once your request is inspected, the Construction Manager will schedule the agreed upon repairs to be performed within the next 5 business days. Please make sure Windsor Homes is allowed access (with an adult present) during regular business hours to resolve your request.

Upon completion of warrantable items being addressed, your Construction Manager and our warranty department will email you a confirmation that all items have been resolved and that the request will be closed out as complete.

If someone cannot be available during business hours for the inspection or repairs, Windsor may close out the warranty due to no access. The request has been logged into our system and can be resubmitted once access can be granted. You will be emailed by the Construction Manager and our warranty department asking you to resubmit the request when you know Windsor can gain access.
